SmartConnect for Palm OS
 SmartConnect lets users define a different network connection for each application on their Palm OS handheld. SmartConnect is particularly well suited to GPRS environments, where a different connection (APN) is required for different data types - web, WAP, email, etc. SmartConnect automates the process of changing the default network connection by allowing users to assign a particular network connection to each application.

Using SmartConnect

SmartConnect's main screen shows the list of applications which have been assigned custom network connections. Applications which are not on this list use the default connection, as shown at the top of the list.

To assign a new network connection, simply press the 'New' button and choose the application and the network connection from the drop-down lists. Connections can be edited and deleted from the main screen.

SmartConnect's menus offer quick access to the Network Preferences Panel, as well a means to force disconnection of any active networking.
